Stash-Buster Challenge #1 - A Doll's Hat - January

Project #1 is finished. Mind you, it was a really small project: a doll hat or beanie I have seen it called also. But . . . this hat came with a surprise !!  Scroll down for it. 

My daughter is also really happy with the new hat for her doll (Nancy (the Spanish Barbie version). 
Her words were :wow !! when she saw it. 

He terminado el primer proyecto del reto Fuera Lanas : un gorro para muñeca, pero no es un gorro cualquiera, sino que viene con sorpresa !  Seguid leyendo para ver que es.

Mi hija esta encantada con el nuevo gorro de sus muñeca ( Nancy  (la version española de Barbie para las que sois de fuera de España )).
Las palabras de mi hija fueron: Guau !! cuando vi el gorro y la sorpresa.

First an explanation of the collage picture above: 
Pict.1 : is what the hat looks like when it is finished
Pict.2: what the hat looks like on the head
Pict.3: close-up of the edge used (I made it up and did Rnd1: 3 chains joint to the hat with a single crochet, Rnd2: 2sgl crochet in each of the 3 chain spaces) 

Primero una explicacion del collage de arriba:
Foto1: es el gorro una vez terminado
Foto2: como queda puesto en la cabeza
Fotor3: detalle del borde (hice lo primero que me salio: vuelta 1:3 cadenetas unidas al gorro por un punto bajo, Vuelta2: 2 puntos bajos en cada espacio de 3 cadenetas)

For the hat and the little ribbon I followed the pattern shown in another of the YouTube videos from BobWilson123, click here for part 1 of the tutorial, here for the part 2 of the tutorial and here for part 3. 

I did not know the stitch used for the ribbon, but the part 3 of the video shows how to make this.

Para el lazo y para el gorrito, segui el tutorial y patron de otro de los videos de BobWilson123 en YouTube (lo siento esta en ingles solo), haz click aqui para la parte 1 del tutorial, aqui para la parte 2 y aqui para la parte 3.

Yo no conocía el punto usado para hacer el lazo, pero os enseña como hacerlo en la parte 3 del video.

And the surprise is that the hat can also be turned into a neck warmer and for the doll at least also into a shawl !! 

Y la sorpresa es que  el gorrito se convierte en un cuello y en un chal !!

I'm so thrilled with it and I think it is such a brilliant idea that I may even make one for myself !! 

Now, my stash for this project was only 74 grs and I used for this 30gr. . . 

Dying to see the rest of the projects !!!
